Our report, “Integrating Rural into the New Reality of Health Care,” takes a look at what is behind the wave of health care facility mergers and service consolidations over the last twenty years and the impact policies intended to control costs are having on access to health care in rural areas. To discuss the issue further, we invited a panel of experts from the health care industry in rural Minnesota to talk about health care access, how it has affected their communities, and what the future may look like. The panel also took questions from viewers.
